Your files

Every conversion tool on ConvertHit runs entirely client-side, in your browser. When you select or drop a file, it is processed locally on your device using WebAssembly and browser APIs. Your file is never uploaded to our servers, never transmitted over the network, and never stored by us in any form.You can verify this yourself by checking your browser's network activity while converting a file.

What we do collect

Like most websites, we use standard analytics to understand aggregate traffic (which pages are visited, from which general region, on which type of device). This data does not include your files or their contents.

We may show ads on this site through Google AdSense. Google and its partners may use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites. You can opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google's Ads Settings.

Cookies

We use minimal cookies for basic site functionality and, where applicable, advertising as described above. We do not use cookies to track file contents, since files are never sent to us in the first place.
